Unlike the regular version, which cares about your capped resistances above 75%, the replica version scales the damage with missing resistances. Missing resistance is the amount your resistance is below the maximum. A character only needs to be 20% to 15% (depending on the (span class="tc -mod")(15-20)%(/span) roll) under the maximum to cap its effects (can lower with certain heist enchantments). A player with default 75% max resistance can cap effects with a max roll Replica Nebulis with 60% Fire/Cold resistance. With Font of Thunder's (span class="tc -mod")#% of Cold Damage taken as Lightning Damage; #% of Fire Damage taken as Lightning Damage(/span): Combined with (span class="tc -mod")(10-20)% of Fire and Cold Damage taken as Lightning Damage while affected by Purity of Lightning(/span) from Watcher's Eye and Divine Flesh, it is possible to fully take Fire and Cold Damage as Lightning or Chaos Damage (both hits and DoT), removing the need to obtain any Fire or Cold Resistance. A minimum roll on the Watcher's Eye modifier is preferred to prevent taking more base damage than would have originally been taken due to the mechanics of damage taken as modifiers. This also allows players to fully utilize the benefits of Replica Nebulis without negatively impacting their defences. | ||||
