Query a single item

  • Manual search:
    • Simply hover your mouse over an item in game, ctrl+C and ctrl+V in to the text area
    • Choose a league
    • It searches undercut 0.85 and uppercut 1.15 of all the mods
    • Some mods need to be narrowed down or broaden, especially for rare items. You can do it by changing the number on top and press "PriceMe" to get more insight about the price.
    • Notice that the price estimated might be higher than the item actually worth, because the matched items may have more mods on your item. These mods that your item doesnot have are displayed in white. From here you can decide go lower or higher.
  • Auto search:
    • Select "auto" (instead of "manual") from the dropdown menu on the left of the submit button
    • It will try it best to ensure a match for a rare/unique item by expanding searching range and removing insignificant mods
    • Normal, magic, gem, maps are currently not affected
    • It works on both single item search and stash search
  • Read the result
    • "Recommended price" - recommendation is made based on item mods min/max, and on what mods are in favor. For example, +25 to Intelligent might be less desirable than +25 to maximum Life on a rare ring. Each stat is also normalized to its own item base and league. A more comprehensive post of dealing with rare item stats was suggested by zendoid on reddit. His suggestion is awesome and his post is here. The recommended price is finally predicted by using a regression algorithm with all similar items. The recommended price is currently experimental. I will make it default if your feedback says it is more close to the current economy. It will also allow me to try different prediction strategies.
    • "Recommedation based on X items" - The number of items based on which the price was calculated can be an indicator of accuracy (statistically significant?). If the price is calculated based on only few items, it may not be accurate. It needs more attention by "priceme" to see the matches, and changing the criteria to find better matches.
    • "Histogram" - A simple price statistics (histogram) of the found items will be shown. You can see what the price most people are selling at
    • "Sold items" - "sold" may not actually mean the traded items. A fraction of the "sold/unverified" items would simply be removed or changed position in the stash tab. But hopefully it still represents big fraction of traded items.
    • "Price range" - This range is about the existing listing prices' range
    • "Min, Median, Max price" - the minimum, median, and maximum listing price of all matches found

The following item will have the text copied from game. Try it out.

Query each stash

  • Get your stash item text - the text is on the GGG path of exile forum. You can use the link (of your league) in this section to display the text in your browser for your first stash tab. Log in may be required if you have not logged in GGG official forum. On success you will see a lot of text displayed in the browser. You do not need to understand it. Simply Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C. Then paste the ENTIRE text into the text area in this section.
  • Options - (i) You can select the "auto/manual" option mentioned earlier. It works on stash items as well. (ii) You can input your shop thread id to ignore your own price using comma separated integer numbers (11111,2222,...) or only one number. (iii) You do not need to pick a league for your stash items.
  • Got prices - After clicking "SubmitStash", it will take a while (maybe 10s of seconds) depending on how many items you have in the stash tab. If everything goes well, you will see all your items labelled with a price (if auto was selected). Again, you need to be aware of some item prices. You can click the "priceme" link on the left.
  • Reprice some items - If you think the price is not reasonable, you can use the "priceme" link on the left under the item image to search the item as if it is a single item. It will open a new tab or window for that item.
  • Change the price currency - the default price is chaos, but you can change it to other currencies by choosing a currency from the drop down menu (click on "chaos"). The number will be updated automatically to the right amount of the currency you choose. You can of course give a value you have in mind to the item.
  • Generate forum post - By clicking the "GeneratePost" button, it will generate the forum text (spoiler) with all the items and prices you have on the page.
  • Update forum - When you get the generated forum text, now you can either paste it directly to your forum post. Or you can do this automatically by providing a forum thread id and the sessionid. Sessionid is the same with the procurement software. A link is provided there to read the procurement guidance. If you think it is not safe, simply log out after you have done posting.

Price all stashes

  • To get the convenience, you need to input SessionId
  • Pick a league that you want to manage the stash tabs
  • Remember to input your own shopid above this section if you would like to ignore price from your own shop(s)
  • By default, it will price your first tab, and list the items just like pricing a single stash tab
  • Reprice - it is the same here, if you want to do your own search. Of course, you also can change the price and currency
  • Change to another tab - simply use the drop down menu to go to any tab you want. If this tab has not been loaded, it will take time to price it. Otherwise, it will be fast
  • Refresh - it will reprice all the items in the currency stash tab
  • Include check - if you want to genernate the forum text, make sure it is checked
  • Generate forum post - By clicking the "GeneratePost" button, it will generate the forum text (spoiler) with all items with all the "checked" tabs
  • Update forum - Update your forum shop thread only with the tabs you checked. It will do incremental changes, NOT overwrite the entire thread. That means you can update any stash tab at any time!

FAQ

  • Which browser to use?
    • The website is mainly tested in Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari, which should give the best performance. IE may not work and sorry about the inconvenience
  • I just had a pair of pretty average boots recommended for 4ex!? It would help to see that it was based on only 2 items (1 was 3 chaos and the other was 15ex), so I'd know to be more circumspect of the recommendation.
    • The number of items based on which the price was calculated (showing on this website now) can be an indicator of accuracy (statistically significant?). If the price is calculated based on only few items, it may not be accurate. It needs more attention by "priceme" to see the matches, and changing the criteria to find better matches.
  • The price is not exact...
    • Gems, maps, unique items, and flasks now work better than rare items, which is under continuous improvement. Various search methods and indicators are provided on the website. If any price is in doubt, make sure to use the search tools to find better matches to compare. The price recommendation is based on listing prices, which may be higher than actual trading prices. All in all, the recommendation is a reference point and you make the decision about what you want. If you want to sell fast, put a lower price. If you want to maximize currency, put a higher price.
